He will also take the opportunity to personally discuss his goals for the district and to pledge his ongoing support of the Clubs.
Whilst on island, he is scheduled to pay courtesy calls on His Excellency, the President, Dr Nicholas J.O. Liverpool, and also to key Government Ministers, whose Ministries will benefit most from his core areas of focus during his tenure.
He meets with the Lions & Leos of the Dominica Clubs in the evening of Thursday 14th to conduct the official audit, a feature of the Lions Movement, which ensures that the clubs are being managed properly and their affairs conducted according to the mandate of the International Association of Lions Clubs.
His visit will also include a sightseeing tour of the Capital city and environs. District Governor Tony Buncamper, MJF whose home club is the St. Maarten Lions Club, leaves Dominica on Saturday 15th September to return home.
District 60B comprises of 61 Lions & Leo Clubs from the Cayman Islands in the north to Grenada in the south of the Caribbean Sea.
The Presidents and members of both the Lions and Leo clubs look forward to the visit of the District Governor.
The exchange achieved during such visits help to strengthen the programs of the clubs and also the bond between the Administration of the International Association of Lions Clubs, and the various clubs.
